Welcome. I am Lance Effrig owner/guide at Washington Guide Services. My goal is to create memories that last a lifetime. I have been fishing since I was old enough to hold a fishing pole. I have always enjoyed helping people catch fish, now I can do it everyday.
I grew up fishing Western Washington for salmon and trout. I fished the Puget sound and various lakes and streams with my dad. When I was about 15, I moved to Wenatchee Washington. Later I moved East Wenatchee. I started fishing the Upper Columbia River and Eastern Washington lakes. Eastern Washington has some of the best salmon, kokanee, trout, walleye, bass, etc in the Northwest.
The Upper Columbia River has Chinook and Sockeye salmon that run annually. The Sockeye fishing at Brewster pool as of lately has been outstanding. Lake Wenatchee also has had a good Sockeye run off and on over the years. I fished Lake Chelan for land locked Chinook salmon and the well known Kokanee. Lake Chelan kokanee fishing has turned into a destination fishery. Lake Roosevelt is one of my favorite places to fish. Lake Roosevelt is known for trophy Kokanee. These Kokanee have been know to grow up over 6 pounds. Lake Roosevelt also has great walleye fishing. Banks lake has been great spiny ray fishery over the years. I have also fished lakes in the Okanogan valley with great success.
As the older I got the more I wanted to watch other people catch fish. My wife and I decided to start a guide service where I could do just that, help and watch people catch fish. Washington Guide Services llc was born. We baught a 2017 23' Custom Weld. We now offer guided fishing trips in Washington state.
